And I dont know what's brilliant about him-- funny, may be--I did not understand most of it. Yesterday I was following the arguments and counter arguments about the Dhaka Project. Although the Kamrul was very much critical about Bangladeshi things but he made some very good points. We really cannot make anything good. We can only follow others. This guy Lal is looking like a joker and what the hell he was singing. I saw some people have also said brilliant song. I really doubt their tastes. It happens because he is from America and we like to lick the American feets.

Lal Miah is making a sarcastic remark about the mullahs. Also, we have to admit Sylhetis are rich - FSA/Bangladesh Bank admitted that without the money of Sylhetis Bangladesh will be much worse off. Greater Sylhet also has vast natural resources which is unmatched and just wish they don't kick up a fuss about separating from rest of Bangldesh.
But I think Lal Miah is singing out of fustration - nothing to get upset about, really.
with 140 million people any district that asks for seperation is only asking for a blood bath, so "don't kick up a fuss about separating from rest of Bangldesh" is all trash. Pakistan was divided on '71 let's not talk about dividing Bangladesh.
